Our Standards

Institutional Guidelines

At Janet Matric Higher Secondary School, rules and regulations are designed not merely to enforce discipline, but to nurture responsibility, respect, and self-control. Every student is expected to uphold the values of the institution and contribute to a safe, orderly, and inspiring learning environment.

01
Social Conduct

Discipline & Behavior

Students shall maintain exemplary conduct both inside and outside the school premises. Respect towards teachers, staff, fellow students, and school property is mandatory. Polite language, courteous behaviour, and a spirit of cooperation are essential qualities encouraged at all times.

02
Time Management

Punctuality & Regularity

Regular attendance and punctuality reflect a student’s commitment to learning. Students must arrive at school on time and attend all classes and activities without fail. Late arrival and unnecessary absenteeism will be viewed seriously.

03
Visual Identity

Uniform & Appearance

Students are required to wear the prescribed school uniform neatly and with pride. Cleanliness, modest appearance, and personal hygiene are expected. Uniform violations are not permitted, as they reflect the discipline and identity of our school.

04
Learning Goal

Academic Responsibility

Students are expected to be sincere in their studies, complete assignments on time, and prepare regularly for assessments. Active participation in classroom activities is encouraged to enhance understanding and academic growth.

05
Academic Flow

Classroom Etiquette

Silence, attentiveness, and discipline must be maintained during class hours. Students should listen carefully, seek permission before speaking, and follow instructions given by teachers promptly for a smooth learning flow.

06
Safety First

Prohibited Items

Students are strictly prohibited from bringing mobile phones, electronic gadgets, sharp objects, or any items that may disrupt the learning environment. Possession of such items may lead to strict disciplinary action.

07
Moral Values

Respect for School Values

Every student is expected to uphold the moral, cultural, and ethical values promoted by the school. Acts of misconduct or behaviour that brings disrepute to the institution will not be tolerated in our ecosystem.
